Nikinpa Supported Play Group

An Indigenous play group open to all families of the community.
The children have the opportunity to play inside with various activities, including play dough, kitchen utensils, toy cars, babies, animals, puzzles, building, reading, drawing plus many more set activities which are rotated each week. The children also have the option to play in the outdoor area which is equipped with a shaded veranda, there are multiple grassed areas as well as a sand pit, in the warmer months there is water play also.
After play time we have song and story time where the kids have the choice of books we read as a group and songs we can sing. To close the group we have morning tea which is provided for both children and care givers.
