This workshop explores the foundations of good practice in case notes and recording in a variety of family work settings.

This Practiced based one day workshop will help you to develop your skills in writing case notes, increase your capacity to capture key relevant content and reflect in your case notes how your practice incorporates the TEI reforms.

It includes the key ethical, legal and professional accountability considerations in making notes, practice points on what to include in case records across the stages of work with families and types of work (brief, individual, group).

Discover common pitfalls to avoid. The workshop has a practical focus and opportunity to practice case recording.


Learning Outcomes:

Identify key features of case records for ethical, legal and professional accountability requirements.

Identify key content for case records in brief interventions, individual family and group work.

Identify common pitfalls in case records and how to avoid them.

Increase confidence in making case records in ways that are respectful of service users and compatible and strengths based practice.
