Workshop Overview
A child's hearing health plays a significant role in their long term health outcomes, as undetected hearing loss can significantly impact on children’s learning and social connections. Lee Lewis and Vanessa Smith experienced Audiometry Nurses from South Western Sydney Local Health District, will be presenting on early childhood ear health.

The session will be focusing on the following topics:
 Review anatomy and physiology of the ear.
 Understand impact of hearing loss.
 Increase staff awareness of promoting ear health.
 Improve staff knowledge of hearing loss and services.
 Overview of hearing test and referral process.
