Fathers and Their Children Program

This program is open to all fathers who live in the Blacktown Local Government Area and have at least one child aged 12 years or younger.
Fathers can be single or partnered and have children in their care or else where.
The program assists fathers with individual support, group work and parenting course.
Helping fathers work through issues or challengers they may be facing. Our focus is on helping father set and reach their own goals as parents as well as partners
Access to other services: we can assist with access to other Anglicare services such as family support, Food and Financial assistance and financial counselling.
What’s involved?
We work with fathers in a number of ways to help meet individual needs. This includes:
-Individual support
-Helping fathers work through issues or challenges they may be facing. Our focus is on helping fathers to set and reach their own goals as parents as well as partners.
-Groups and workshops, Building connections, sharing experiences and gaining skills.
These include:
• Fathers Peer Support group
• Practical Living Skills group
• Fathers Parenting program.
Referrals from other services, agencies and organisations as well as self-referrals.
