Australian Korean Welfare Association Inc
Australia Korean Welfare Association is a non-profit community organisation, funded by the Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA). We provide settlement services to the Korean community in the Sydney metropolitan areas under the Community Settlement Service Scheme.
The Intent of Australia Korean Welfare Association:
we promote better understanding of Australian society and encourage the participation of the Korean community through -
community education, training Korean volunteer workers and assisting self-help & support groups.we develop networks within the Korean community as well as with other ethnic communities and mainstream services.
Recent Accomplishments of Australia Korean Welfare Association:
one of the volunteer from our organisation rewarded with "Centenary Medal 2003".
